Fillings

before and afterOur tooth-colored filling material is BPA free!

Tooth colored fillings are typically done to repair a tooth, which has either been decayed or broken, when the supporting tooth is still strong.

The silver fillings in the photo (left) were starting to break down. Opportunistic decay-causing bacteria is able to get though the cracks, causing recurrent decay, which may lead to additional treatment or tooth loss. Changing these fillings to new composite restorations not only enhances the smile, but also saves the teeth from further trauma.

Dental Implants

A missing tooth is replaced with the use of a dental implantDental implants are a permanent and appealing solution to replace missing or extracted teeth.

There is a healing period of approximately three to four months after an implant is placed. During this healing time you may have temporary restorations placed so that you can eat and speak normally, and maintain a proper aesthetic appearance for your smile. In our family dental practice in Holly Springs, we routinely treat dental implant cases which result in beautiful smiles!
